Details: The Bosch Professional Wall Scanner D-tect 200 C uses Bosch-patented radar technology to detect materials such as live and dead cables, solid and empty plastic pipes, magnetic and non-magnetic metals, and wooden studs. The wall scanner detects objects up to 200 mm deep and provides depth information. Four different views ensure optimal results in every application: object view, detail view, 2D signal view, and signal view. The detector also supports a wide range of wall types: brick/universal, concrete, plasterboard, underfloor heating, perforated brick, and early hardening concrete. This provides greater accuracy, safety, and a clear view of detected objects, even in confined spaces. The device offers a screenshot function for easy documentation of detection results and the ability to download images via USB-C cable or microSD card. Additionally, as new software updates become available, the detector can be easily updated and kept up to date via microSD card. The leak detection function is also available to quickly locate the source of a leak in a wall. For best results: - Do not wear gloves - Turn off or put other devices in airplane mode - Select the correct wall type in the settings - Measure in a straight line using light pressure - If possible, measure over a distance of at least 40 cm - Observe the measurement results by moving the device backwards - For proper detection, proceed slowly to capture all materials. If the path of an object in a substrate is unknown, a cross-section scan is recommended. For greater flexibility, the detector can be used with standard AA batteries and an adapter or with a 12V lithium battery (available separately).
