Product Description

Recently released in 2022 Thinkscan Max2 – an affordable alternative to expensive OE-level scanners on the market.
Want to give your car a full checkup anytime? Want to turn off those annoying error messages on your dashboard? Are you still bothered by the slow diagnostic speed of diagnostic equipment on the market, which leads to inefficient repairs? Want to erase data on lost car keys? Want to perform a reset after replacing a specific car part? Don't want to sit in your car doing diagnostics in the hot summer? The Thinkscan Max2 OBDII Full System Scanner can solve your worries.
The Thinkscan Max 2 OBD2 diagnostic tool supports intelligent automatic VIN detection of your car's make, model, year information, and VIN code. A "Health Report" button scans and diagnoses fault information for the entire vehicle system module and automatically generates a vehicle health diagnostic report. Once the report is generated, you can save the QR code via your phone, share it, or send it directly to your email, a very popular feature.
Thinkscan Max 2 OBD2 diagnostic tool can not only perform basic full-system functions: code reading, code clearing, data streaming and ECU module information reading for over 93 models of US, European and Asian car brands, but also can perform full OBDII functions for all vehicles manufactured after 1996 that follow the OBDII protocol, including reading/clearing fault codes, live data streaming/freeze frame test, EVAP test, oxygen detection test, I/M readiness, on-board monitoring, vehicle information, etc.
Real-time data stream supports graphical, textual and analog display of comprehensive real-time data and parameters from multiple sensors to facilitate real-time monitoring of the operating status of electronic components for troubleshooting, but supports up to 4 textual data streams that are combined to generate graphical data streams simultaneously.
ECU information is mainly used to display specific information about the ECU under test, including device type, version number, long code and other specification parameters.
The Thinkscan Max2 wireless car scan tool features Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and supports a transmission distance of up to 33 feet, no longer limiting you to your car for hot summer vehicle diagnostics. No paid subscription is required to access over 28 popular special feature services. It meets the maintenance needs of most mechanics and car owners, and by accessing the full system diagnostics menu, you can view more of the special features supported by your vehicle.
With Thinkscan Max 2, you're on the safe side! For individual car owners, regular vehicle health checks can prevent accidents and unnecessary wear and tear, leading to expensive repair costs. For DIY enthusiasts and repairers, a comprehensive diagnosis of the vehicle system before repair can fully and accurately analyze the cause of the fault, improve repair efficiency, and avoid unnecessary repair disputes.

28+ MAINTENANCE RESET SERVICE
- Oil reset: When the vehicle's service light comes on, it indicates that the vehicle requires maintenance. After maintenance, reset the mileage or driving time to zero so that the service light goes out and the system starts a new maintenance cycle.
- Accelerator adaptationThrottle adaptation involves using the auto decoder to initialize the throttle actuator so that the ECU's learning value returns to its initial state. This allows for more precise control of throttle movement (or engine idle speed), thereby adjusting the intake volume.
- Reset steering angleTo reset the steering angle, first find the relative zero point so the car can drive in a straight line. Using this position as a reference, the controller can calculate the exact angle for left and right steering. After replacing the steering angle position sensor, if you want to steer mechanical parts (such as the steering box, steering column, tie rod, and steering knuckle), perform four-wheel alignment, or restore the body, you will need to reset the steering angle.
- Battery Adaptation: This function allows you to perform a reset operation on the vehicle's battery monitoring unit, which erases the original low battery fault information and performs battery adaptation.
- ABS BleedWhen there is air in the ABS, the ABS bleed function must be performed to bleed the brake system and maintain the sensitivity of the ABS brake. When replacing the ABS computer, ABS pump, brake master cylinder, brake cylinder, brake hose, or brake fluid, the ABS bleed function must be activated to bleed the ABS.
- EPB Reset: This is important to maintain the safety and efficiency of the electronic braking system.
- DPF Reset: Works specifically for diesel particulate filter systems with DPF regeneration, DPF component replacement learning, and DPF learning after engine control unit replacement.
- Learning gears: The scan tool monitors certain camshaft position sensor signals to determine if all conditions are met to proceed with the engine running procedure.
- IMMO Service: To prevent the car from being used by unauthorized keys, it is necessary to perform the anti-theft key pairing function so that the immobilizer control system on the car can identify and authorize the remote control keys to use the car normally.
- Injector coding: Write the actual injector code or write the code in the ECU to the corresponding cylinder injector code to more precisely control or correct the cylinder injection quantity. After replacing the ECU or injector, the injector code of each cylinder must be confirmed or recoded to allow the cylinder to better identify the injectors for precise fuel injection control.
- TPMS ResetAfter activating the tire pressure MIL and performing maintenance, you must perform the tire pressure reset function to reset the tire pressure and deactivate the tire pressure MIL. Tire pressure reset should be performed after performing maintenance in the following cases: tire pressure is too low, tire leaks, tire pressure monitor replacement or installation, tire replacement, a damaged tire pressure sensor, and replacing a car tire with a tire pressure monitoring function.
And other reset functions: Suspension matching; AFS reset; A/T learning; Sunroof initialization, EGR adjustment, ODO reset; Airbag reset; Transport mode; A/F reset; Stop/start reset; NOx sensor reset; Seat calibration; Coolant venting; Tire reset; Windows calibration; Change language

Car VINIdentify vehicles quickly and easily. In intelligent diagnostic mode, vehicle information can be automatically read. If some vehicles cannot be detected, you can manually select the vehicle modes to be diagnosed. | Read the information on the ECU moduleThe wireless diagnostic scanner supports ECU module information reading to read and display specific information about the electronic control unit (ECU) under test, such as: device type, vehicle part number, version numbers, long coding, code, and other specifications. All of this provides useful reference information for maintenance work. | One-click update via WIFINo computer updates are required. Simply click Update after connecting to Wi-Fi. All software will then be updated. (You can enjoy lifetime updates via one-key Wi-Fi update, which is rare in the diagnostic market since other diagnostic tools only offer one-year updates.) |

Real-time data flow graphicsThis OBDII automotive scanner displays real-time vehicle sensor data in text and multiple graphical formats, including graph merging for detailed analysis. You can save the number of streams in the report.Diagnostic data can be recorded and played back Save to Think File Module and shared with your friends via email | Added CANFD protocolThe CAN FD protocol supports GM vehicles manufactured after 2021. The CAN FD protocol uses a more powerful CRC algorithm that significantly reduces the risk of undetected errors. The CAN FD protocol can accommodate more data, from 8 to 64 bytes, in a CAN frame with relatively less system overhead and supports improved data transmission rates when sending larger data objects, making software simpler and more efficient. Not only does it offer shorter CAN frames by increasing the bitrate, but it also has the advantages of lower latency, higher accuracy, better real-time performance, and increased bandwidth. | Bidirectional control scan toolThere can be paid subscriptions to unlock advanced features like ECU coding and actuation testing, etc. ECU coding can reprogram the vehicle's control module, allowing the adaptive data of certain components to be reprogrammed after repairs or replacements. It is often used after vehicle customization to perform this function. Active Test can send commands to vehicle systems/components to test system inputs/outputs without using the vehicle controller, e.g. B. Check if the actuator is normal |
